Stress Management for Teen Girls

**please note that this is not a Shine From Within event but is being run by one of our trained youth mentors. This means we have no control over content or how it’s run but we do love and trust our youth mentors!**
The teenage years can be a stressful time. School demands, pressure from friends, self comparison, issues at home and changes in their body are just some of the triggers of stress that I see teens battling with every day.
The impact of this stress can have powerfully damaging consequences, often creating patterns of:
Poor coping skills
I help empower teen girls with the tools and techniques they need to manage their stress so that they can step into their lives with a sense of calm, control and purpose.
In my one-day workshops, your teen will learn:
What stress really is – the good and the not-sogood
The effect stress has ont he body and mind
The link between nutrition and anxiety/stress
How to dramatically change their response to stress triggers
Effective tools and techniques to manage stress and maintain a sense of calm.
Set in a tranquil location, the experience includes:
Opportunities to explore and practice stress-management techniques
Time to plan their own Stress Management Plan (becauase we’re all different)
A beautiful essential oil to diffuse and wear at home

Venue: Maroochy Arts & Ecology Centre (Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens)
Time: 10:00am – 5:00pm
(please arrive at 9:45am for a 10:00am sharp start)
