Leah has worked in the Youth space for over 8 years where she first began as a Youth Worker in Child Protection. After a few years in crisis management she then decided that she really wanted to be in the preventative space and this is when she started her own programs as a Youth Mentor.
This has given Leah many different work opportunities from 1:1 sessions, group courses, mother daughter events, school programs and most recently has loved mentoring other adults that work in the youth space.
Leah has worked with Shine From Within for 6 years supporting both young people and adults as they complete their training to become Youth Mentors and start their businesses.
Leah is currently travelling Australia full time where she loves to connect with communities to run programs as she is visiting them as well as to connect with other folk working in the Youth Space to support them.
