Remi Kupoluyi | Just Teens Int'l
Remi is the founder of Just Teens Int’l (JTI), a youth-based organisation that provides mentoring support for teens and tweens across the world so they can thrive through and maximize their teenage years. JTI offers one-on-one mentoring, virtual community, skills camps and other youth-based programs.
Remi is a trained youth mentor and a certified coach and trainer with the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team. She often supports teens using a strengths-based approach, as she believes people thrive when they operate from their place of strength.
Remi began her working with youth journey when she founded and coordinated ‘The Right to Write’ essay contest for all public schools in Lagos, Nigeria. She saw first hand how creating enabling opportunities and experiences helped to harness the young people’s strengths and helped them thrive and find meaning.
Since relocating to Australia in 2013 and studying Master of Social Work at the University of New England NSW, Remi has worked with young people in various capacities including Child Protection Services, Early Intervention Services and the NDIS. She also runs programs in high schools and leads the youth group at her local church. Remi is a wife and mother to two beautiful children who keep inspiring her to support children and teens around the world.
