Over the weekend we had our first Tweens course! It was loads of fun and I’m so thankful that I was able to spend the weekend with such lovely girls.
We started off on Saturday morning by getting to know each other and learning about first impressions and communication skills. Then we got into some self-esteem and positive body image discussions. After a lovely raw organic morning tea from Ground Organics, we sat down and gave ourselves a manicure with toxic-free polish.
Then on Sunday we talked a little more about self-esteem and self-worth, before getting in to health and wellness, including making our own raw almond ‘milk’ and choc-coconut bliss balls. Then we learned all about table etiquette before sitting down and learning about the importance of natural skin care. Everyone gave themselves a facial using beautiful Twenty8 products and a face mask made out of organic fruit – apparently it was pretty yummy! Then we made our own batch of body scrub using ingredients commonly found in the kitchen pantry.
All of the girls received a certificate and it was tough to get them to leave by the end!
A huge, heart-felt thank you to all the girls who came along (and to whoever left the beautiful message above on the white board!) – you made it such a fun weekend!
The next Tweens course will be held on Jan 6 & 7, 2014. Check out all the details and book your place here.
