Terms of Enrolment

As the parent/guardian enrolling their child into one of our online academy classes, you agree to the following:

Photographs and/or video and/or audio recordings may be made during the course/workshop and may feature the students. All reasonable effort will be made to ensure that students turn off their video if wish not to be recorded as outlined in our Code of Conduct. Recordings made of live online classes may be made available to students who couldn’t make it live in the member’s portal. Snippets of live classes may also be used to promote the Online Academy but will not feature identifiable features of the students (we will block out faces to protect their privacy).

As the parent/guardian, I acknowledge that Shine From Within and associates, including the individual class facilitators, are sharing a range of information, facts, research and opinions with the students that is not intended to be taken as personal medical advice. I hereby release, discharge and/or otherwise indemnify and hold harmless Shine From Within, its affiliated organisations and sponsors, volunteers, their contractors and associated personnel, including the class facilitators from all liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense suffered by the student as a consequence of her participation in an online class, including in the unlikely event of death or personal injury.

Shine From Within reserves the right to cancel or change classes/events in any way at any time. In this instance, we will endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible. In the event of a class being cancelled by Shine From Within, a transfer will be issued for a future class or a refund issued, whichever you prefer. If circumstances change and the student cannot make the event, the enrolment may be transferred to another person. No refund will be issued.

The online academy classes are intended for students under the age of 18. By enrolling, you agree to do your best to ensure that the intended young person attends the class. You acknowledge that these classes are not for parents, unless specifically highlighted for a particular class. Parents are welcome to watch the recordings but we’d prefer to keep the live classes as parent-free zones so the young people feel more comfortable having open and honest conversations (if they choose to participate – they’re welcome just to attend!).

DOWNLOAD OUR CODE OF CONDUCT HERE. This is subject to be updated regularly to support our facilitators with what they need and what they see coming up in the classes.
