Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Wow.  This year has been incredible.  I can’t believe that the first Shine From Within course was only in April this year!  So much has happened, I’ve met so many amazing people and I really don’t know where to start with thanking everyone.  Only a year ago this business was just a dream.  I wanted to help young women value themselves, take care of themselves and truly shine from within.  I wanted to give them the tools and confidence to stand up tall, present themselves well, blitz through job interviews, chase their dreams and let go of comparisons. I wanted to help them realise the importance of nourishing and moving their bodies, as well as being gentle and kind to themselves and the world around them. Thank you for helping me realise this dream.

Here is a little recap of the year…

We’ve run the following courses:

• September Holidays Shine Personal Development Course and Model Masterclass
• Tweens Course
• One-on-one mentoring
• Private catwalk training
• We’ve also run workshops free-of-charge for ‘youth at risk’ at Nambour High School, Coolum High, Mooloolaba Primary School, Noosa District High, Young Women’s Strategy through Sunshine Coast Youth Partnerships and Get Set for Work students through United Synergies.

Phew!  I’ve had so many incredible teachers and supporters along the way and I really can’t ever thank them enough. I’ll try to remember them all: Krys Hansen (yoga teacher), Jennifer (zumba teacher), Lise Carlaw (stylist), Penny and Callie from Alterior Motif (stylists), Sam Penny and his team at Universal Hair, Kylie Eustace (Make Up artist who traveled from the Gold Coast for each class), Nat Lynn and your team for your incredible photography and editing, Jacinta Richmond (casting for catwalk teacher extraordinaire!), Tristin and Simon (both incredible directors/producers who came in for some of the TVC training), Jess Ainscough (nutrition teacher), Kim Morrison (Twenty8 Skincare and incredible mentor), Jess Linton (student and dance teacher), Clare from Peregian Beach Community House (such an awesome venue), Tess at Smack Bang Designs for your hard work in designing the logo and branding, Susana Frioni (amazing business coach), the team at Ground Organics and Julie a.k.a Food Ferret for your incredible catering, my amazing little family Davey and Trudi for your love and support even when I get stressed!, beautiful Brylie Hillegers for your dedication as an intern, Moriah Overell for your beautiful design work, photography and videography, to all of the journalists that shared the story of Shine and helped to get the word out and of course all the wonderful students and their parents for putting their trust in me.  THANK YOU.
