The most magical mother-daughter weekend

We had the most magical weekend at our very first mother-daughter retreat!  8 beautiful Mums and daughters joined us, along with our team Amanda Rootsey, Kim Morrison and Leah Castle.

From the moment they arrived, they were pampered… massages and a welcome basket to die for greeted them on arrival.  We started that evening with a gentle yoga class with Kelly Carthy, who guided everyone to bliss in our candle-lit yoga space.  Scrumptious food, catered by the very accommodating (we had a few dietary requirements!) folks at Cafe Nurcha and a delicious gluten-free, vegan caramel tart had us all feeling very satisfied!  We ended the first evening with some huge ‘aha’ moments thanks to Kim’s session on self-love.

Saturday morning and we were up bright and early for a fun morning on the water with Noosa Stand Up Paddle.  It’s safe to say we would’ve all been happy to sleep in but were all so so glad we got our butts out of bed!  The sun was shining, the water was calm and our instructors were determined to get us wet!  It was the perfect way to start the day.

A big breaky in the resort restaurant followed by some informative, fun sessions back in our villa.  Mums with Kim, girls with Amanda and we got to go deep in our sessions.  We came back together with some insights for each other which have set us up for stronger communication back at home.

Throughout the day we learned about our personality types and what makes us tick as well as our love languages.  More delicious food and moments of staring out to the water from the balcony ensured everyone felt like they were a million miles away from ‘real life.’  But the best part of the day was just sitting together, sharing stories and laughing.

The afternoon was spent getting ‘dolled’ up for some gorgeous sunset beach photos and a lovely dinner on the water.  Such a treat!

Sunday morning saw us walking through the Noosa National Park, having another scrumptious breaky and getting creative with our macrame session.  Each mother-daughter pair made their own dream-catcher.  They were gorgeous!

We finished the retreat by sharing a little more about what we love about each other and closed out the retreat, going home feeling refreshed, reconnected and happy.

A huge thank you to our team, venue, caterers, guests and supporters.  We couldn’t have done it without you.
