Only 8 years old and this young boy is changing the lives of many.
Adrian Young first realized the plight of the homeless after walking by a man lying on the sidewalk in Toowoomba. His heart was touched when he saw a homeless man covering himself in blankets on a cold winters night. After seeing the man on the street, Adrian went home and took all his savings to create 50 care packs including toiletries, food and snacks and delivered them directly to the homeless and the main shelter.
In determination to help others, Adrian launched a GoFundMe page to raise awareness and money for the homeless. Within days $2,900AUD was raised to create additional care packages.
“I’m a lucky kid to have the life I have,” wrote Young. “I want to try and make everyone’s life as good as mine.”
